COVID-19 Virus Continuity Statement
At LRS, we are keenly aware of the potential impact the Coronavirus (COVID-19) could have on our business as well as the effect it could have on our customers. Our utmost concern is the safety of our employees and our customer’s employees.
As of March 6th, 2020, our Corporate headquarters has placed a temporary freeze on all non-essential business travel for our employees. Because of the relationship our LRS IT Solutions (LRS-ITS) division has with our customers, this temporary halt of travel has significant meaning to us and to you, our customers.
While we, LRS-ITS, will make every attempt to comply with the temporary freeze, we plan to do everything possible to continue with our projects and contractual obligations without interruption. We understand that some of our projects are in phases that simply require on-site, face-to-face interactions in order to complete the planned project tasks. In those situations where on-site interaction is truly required, we will continue to meet those requirements and treat it as ‘essential’ business travel when the health and safety of the employees of both companies allows.
With that said, we ask each customer to be open minded and consider our attempts to utilize virtual meetings, phone, or online conferencing to meet sales needs and project tasks during this temporary time. Your sales representative will be discussing all options with you in the coming days and work diligently with you and your teams to ensure we continue to meet your needs.
In addition, we are working closely with our vendors and our partners to understand where supply chain issues may arise and how best to mitigate these risks. While this is a fluid situation, we are doing everything possible to mitigate disruptions to our customers. Specific actions include working with our vendors and partners to monitor inventories, shipments and delivery dates.
Furthermore, all of our employees can work remotely. Should some type of outbreak happen at our office locations, we are able to mobilize remote teams to continue to service our customers without interruption.
To be fully transparent and help you further understand our position on this situation, I have attached to this memo our Corporate direction to our employees.
Please feel free to reach out to your LRS sales representative or me directly (Diane Arnold 217-793-3800 x1242) if you have any concerns or questions.
